The bobble stitch, sometimes called a double crochet cluster, is a fun way to add texture to your project. It is similar to both the puff stitch and the popcorn stitch. The stitch is made by connecting 5 unfinished double crochet stitches in one stitch.
To form the bobble stitch, yarn over and insert your hook and pull up a loop as if you were starting a double crochet stitch. You will have 3 loops on your hook.
Yarn over and pull through only two loops. You will have 2 loops on your hook.
Repeat this 4 more times until you have 6 loops on your hook.
Yarn over and pull through all 6 loops.
You’ve formed your bobble! Repeat as needed for your pattern.
