I have some travel coming up for the holidays and I need a way to carry my crochet hooks with me. I am constantly misplacing my hooks, even at home, and I know if I try to travel with them just loose in my bag, they’ll be gone! I decided to crochet a small drawstring pouch to store my hooks. It is a simple and easy project and I may make a few more to carry my other craft supplies!
This pouch is crocheted in the round, using single crochets in the back loop only. It uses one main color, with a contrasting color for the edging and string.
The completed dimensions of the bag are 3.75″ wide by 9′ tall (including the trim). If you have larger hooks or want to use the bag for other supplies (such as knitting needles, pens, paintbrushes, etc), you can easily adjust the height of the bag by increasing or decreasing the number of rows.
