Welcome to The Very Hungry Crafter!
We’re Elizabeth and Meg, sisters who love crafting- whether that is food, cocktails, or crochet. Growing up, we both learned how to cook and craft with our family. As we got older, Elizabeth focused more on cooking while Meg focused more on crafting.
Elizabeth’s happy place is the kitchen. And conveniently so, as a mama to a growing tween who could eat her weight in potatoes every day of the week. I have a hard time using a recipe in a straightforward manner but I love a cooking challenge to try incorporating a new ingredient or mixing up a flavor profile.
Meg is a crafter who focuses on crochet, but dabbles in a wide variety of other crafts including calligraphy, embroidery, card making, and more! I love making things and always have multiple projects in the works at once. I love learning new skills and techniques and coming up with new ideas and patterns.
We started the Very Hungry Crafter as a way to share our love of all things creative.
